The crest
Every piece of the crest means something. It is how we say who we are without having to say it.
- The shield
- The whole crest is a picture of the place we have built: somewhere you are safe, your children are lifted up, and when you fall down you get up a little further ahead.
- Mentorship
- The one word on the crest, on the red ribbon across the top, because it is why all of this exists.
- The cross
- Pale gold, it divides the shield into four quarters and holds them together at the center. We lean in on faith. Our leaders live by Christian values, though we are not a Christian organization.
- The anvil
- Character is forged under pressure. Nobody is handed it.
- The lion
- The courage to stand up and keep going.
- The hand and the arrow
- Taking hold of your own future. Arrow means ownership, and the principles and integrity the crest stands for. The further a bow is pulled back, the further the arrow flies, and hard seasons are what load the bow.
- The anchor
- Hope that holds when the water gets rough.
- The laurel
- A win worth honoring, earned the right way.
- The two arrows
- An arrow is first to battle. These two are Arrow and Double Arrow, the two levels every builder aims for.
- The colors
- Navy for steadiness and loyalty. Red for courage and what it costs. Gold for what lasts.
